You’ll hear it in our demo video which is embedded to this article. We did, however, notice that the plugin produces a clicking noise when reducing the delay speed at high feedback settings. You can built some great sounding feedback loops in no time and these can be used for making some rather neat sound effects. What we loved about HY-Delay are its filters and the ability to go totally crazy with the feedback. Still, the bitcrusher in HY-Delay sounds nice and you get some pretty cool lo-fi delay effects with it. This built-in bitcrusher can come in handy for emulating the sound of old digital delays, however you can get a pretty similar effect by simply placing a third party bitcrusher plugin in front of any other delay effect out there.

The plugin offers a pretty standard feature set for a delay effect, with the addition of a bit depth reduction circuit on the input. HY-Delay is a new freeware delay effect developed by HY-Plugins, released as a 32-bit and 64-bit VST plugin for Windows based host applications.
